From the original Broadway company to seven years on tour.
Romano was a member of the original Broadway company of Come From Away and served as drummer and percussion consultant for the Wicked U.S. National Tour. The work combines consistency, instinct, and the flexibility to meet a production where it is every night.

Each session balances technique, musicality, listening, and the practical demands of performance, with particular attention to ergonomics and injury prevention. Lessons are available online and in person, subject to performance and recording commitments.

About Romano
A career built between places, disciplines, and stories.
Romano Di Nillo is a Newfoundland-born percussionist, composer, sound designer, and educator whose work spans Broadway, international touring, orchestral music, recording, television, interactive media, and traditional music.
He is a proud Qalipu First Nation member and holds a master’s degree in music from McGill University. Across each part of his practice, Romano brings the same values: close listening, musical curiosity, and a deep respect for the people and story in the room.
